The Famous Mrs. Field's Cookies

Please let me know what you think of these cookies! I want to know!
There are so many Mrs. Field's recipes out there that I've seen and tried, and I don't want to be rude, so don't take it that way, but NOTHING beats this one! Believe me, I have tried all of them and this one, is the one that everyone raves about. I hope you like them as much as I do! I almost like them too much. Maybe that's why I could never lose all my baby weight!

YOU'LL NEED:
-1 pound of margarine (4 whole sticks-I know hello huge hips!) you can use butter if you want to cut down a little on calories.
-1 1/2 cup sugar
-2 cups brown sugar
-2 tbs. vanilla
-3 eggs
-6 cups flour
-1 1/2 tsp. salt
-1 1/2 tbs. soda
-4 cups of choc. chips (1 small bag)
-2 cups of nuts (optional-I don't use them)

DIRECTIONS:
-Preaheat oven to 350 degrees.
-First cream together: softened butter/marg., sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and eggs. Just until it's mixed, no longer.
-Then in a seperate bowl mix together dry ingredients.
-Add dry ingredients to the butter mixture.
-Add chocolate chips and nuts if you want.
-Put cookie dough into tsp size dollops onto greased cookie sheet.
-Bake cookies for 10-11 min. cookies will not look all the way done. Take them out anyway and let them sit on the pan for just a minute to cool then cool them on a cooling rack.
**Makes like 75-80 cookies! I usually get 3 "stuffed" gallon ziplock bags full. I keep one bag out and freeze two of them. Then get another one out when the first bag is gone!
**I know these are fattening but, think about how many cookies you are making! So it's okay to have a few, just not all the time! :O)

Italian Ice

**Okay so anyone who's ever been pregnant knows you have some serious hot flashes! At least I do! So I wanted something that would cool me down and taste really good, but be easy to make. I love, love, love this new recipe! I devoured it and can assure you I will be continuing to do so in the upcoming summer months! Ugh!! Sorry there's no picture, it made it to my mouth before I could get one, but next time I make it, I promise there will be one, so check back to see it! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

You'll Need:
-3 cups water
-1 1/2 cups sugar
-1/2 cup lime juice

DIRECTIONS:
-Stick a casserole dish in your freezer to pre-chill.
-First dissolve the water and sugar in a pan on Hi heat.
-When sugar and water are dissolved add the lime juice.
-Cook it for just about a minute then take off heat.
-Put pan in an ice bath to cool it down a little.
-When it's cooled down, pour it into your prechilled casserole dish and stick it back in the freezer.
-When it starts to set up pretty good, take it out and just run a fork all the way through it. This will fluff it.
-Put back in the freezer for about 1 1/2 hours. Fluff with a fork again and Enjoy!!
**This made enough for four really big cup fulls of Italian ice.
